Wellbeing Meetings

The Wellbeing Department offers 30-minute confidential one-to-one meetings. This is a supportive and private space where you can discuss any mental health and wellbeing concerns. We are here to provide the best possible support and help you make the most of your time at William College.

How do you access support?

If you need academic adjustments or extra support, you will need to provide medical evidence or a formal report. In most cases medical evidence will be a letter from your doctor (General Practitioner or GP), or other appropriate health care professional. If you are unsure of what evidence to provide you can email us at wellbeing@williamcollege.com for further advice.

What support is available?

Support at William College is flexible and tailored to individual needs. We will discuss your requirements on a case-by-case basis to determine the best options for you. Additionally, we have partnerships with third-party providers who can arrange note-takers, one-to-one support, and other forms of assistance as needed.

Engagement and Development

Drop-in sessions

If you're facing challenges, it's important to know you don't have to struggle alone. We offer drop-in sessions to provide support and assistance. These confidential sessions are announced via email and in classrooms on campus. They occur quarterly, based on availability. For urgent matters, you can also book one-to-one meetings with the Wellbeing Department as an alternative.

We offer a variety of workshops, group sessions, and events aimed at enhancing your wellbeing and developing essential skills. These sessions will help with topics such as stress management and building resilience. Keep an eye out for announcements and make the most of these opportunities to support your personal and academic growth.

Report an Incident

In Need Form

At William College, we are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone — students, staff, applicants, and members of the public.

If you have experienced or witnessed an incident that goes against our values of respect, dignity, and equality, we encourage you to report it using our In Need Form. You don’t need to be sure whether a policy has been broken — if something doesn’t feel right, we want to hear about it.

Report and Incident Anonymously

You can choose to report anonymously or include your details if you wish to be contacted for follow-up. All reports are treated with care, confidentiality, and sensitivity. Submitting this form anonymously ensures that your identity remains undisclosed. Any information provided will be kept private unless William College determines that there is a significant safety risk to you or others. In most cases, the College's ability to take direct action against specific individuals may be limited when based solely on anonymous reports. However, if a report contains identifying details and highlights serious safety concerns, the College may take appropriate steps to safeguard those involved. Submitting a report does not automatically trigger a formal complaint — you are in control of what happens next.
