Course Overview

Our BA (Hons) Business and Management (Law) degree offers a diverse program that equips you with essential business skills and specialised legal knowledge, preparing you for various sectors. The course covers core business skills and how law integrates into business functions and roles. Engage with subjects like contract law, negligence, crime, and business law, demonstrating understanding through problem-solving exercises with real-life case studies. This approach builds confidence in applying legal concepts across contexts. Specialize in areas like Human Resources or pursue roles in the legal industry.

Entry requirements:

  • A minimum of five GCSE passes at grade C/4 or above (including Math's and English) or international equivalent. Other qualifications from the EU and abroad can also be considered and are assessed through Ecctis/Naric.
  • UK Level 3 academic - 60 Credits Minimum
  • UK Level 2 academic - 45 credits
  • ID Must have validity for at least 6 months from the start date of the course.
  • Personal Statement -250 words or more (stating intentions for joining university MUST MENTION COURSE NAME AND WILLIAM COLLEGE)
  • Share code: Proof of immigration status in the UK (British passport holders do not require this)
  • Consent form

Applicants under 21 can apply with a minimum level 2 qualification.

Applicants over 21 can apply with:

  • ID Must have validity for at least 6 months from the start date of the course.

If you do not have formal or recent qualifications, you can support your application with evidence of appropriate skills and knowledge acquired through previous post- schoolprofessional work experience in the UK ONLY. Accompanying your application, you must complete APEL of 500 words setting out the following:

  • A summary of your work experience - MUST INCLUDE DATE/MONTH, ALSO COMPANY NAME NEEDS TO BE VERIFIED AS GENUINE
  • What skills and knowledge have you gained from your job
  • How will those skills and knowledge mentioned relate to you being a student or the course directly
  • How these are relevant to the course applied for
  • UTR REQUIRED FOR SELF EMPLOYED APPLICANTS

English language requirements:

If English is not your first language, we will need to see evidence of your proficiency in the English language. Generally, we are looking for a score equivalent to a minimum of IEL TS 5.5, with 5.5 in each of the four components of Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. We accept a range of qualifications including:

  • Overall score needs to be 95
  • IELTS
  • Duolingo with a minimum score of 95
  • Academic qualifications taught in English can also be accepted, such as GCSE English Language with a minimum grade C/4.
